CNK Realty completes two transactions for Gannon University

CNK Realty is pleased to announce that it has completed two separate transactions for Gannon University in the Ruskin/Sun City Center area of Florida. The first transaction was a lease of over 12,000 square feet of office space at 105 Commercial Center Drive, with the option to expand and occupy the entire building of over 17,000 SF. Nick Ganey of Keller Williams represented the landlord in the lease transaction.


Additionally, CNK Realty represented Gannon in the acquisition of just over 3 acres of commercial land from a separate ownership group, which is adjacent to the building they will be leasing. The land is planned for future expansion of the campus to accommodate upwards of 60,000 square feet of additional classroom, lab and administration space. Gannon University will begin offering programs for the 2015 academic year and has started accepting applications now.


Gannon University plans to initially offer a Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at the campus and additional graduate level programs in health sciences. “The Ruskin campus leverages Gannon’s program strengths and capacity to deliver high-quality education,” said Gannon President Keith Taylor, Ph.D. “This initiative speaks to the academic, financial and organizational health of Gannon. This investment is about our students and ensuring their access to exceptional education,” Taylor said. “In 1944, we received permission from the Commonwealth to offer degrees in Pennsylvania. Seventy years later, we are moving forward in the spirit of our founder, Archbishop John Mark Gannon, by offering graduate degrees in Florida.”
